Sergio Martin Delgado
Over the past 15+ years I’ve helped launch and grow more than 60 digital products and games, working with studios and organizations including Electronic Arts, Wooga, A Thinking Ape, and Major League Soccer.
My work sits at the intersection of creative storytelling, audience psychology, and performance marketing. I focus on building campaigns that not only look great but also deliver measurable results whether that means installs, engagement, or long-term audience growth.
What I Do
I specialize in performance creative and digital marketing campaigns designed for scale.
Throughout my career I’ve led cross-functional teams of designers, editors, and motion artists producing gameplay trailers, social campaigns, cinematic marketing assets, and rapid-testing advertising frameworks across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and programmatic networks. In many cases I’ve overseen creative teams of 5–15 contributors working across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
A large part of my work focuses on building creative systems that scale. The most effective marketing rarely comes from a single great ad. It comes from a steady pipeline of ideas, fast testing, learning from data, and evolving creative strategy over time.
How I Work
My approach is simple:
1 – Test fast.
2 – Learn from results.
3 – Improve with every iteration.
When I first started in marketing creative, success was mostly defined by brand alignment and visual craft. Today creative leadership is equally about experimentation, data, and performance. I enjoy working at that intersection, combining strong ideas with measurable outcomes.
Throughout my career I’ve partnered closely with marketing, product, and analytics teams to translate audience insights into creative direction that performs.
My Background
I was born in Lima, Peru, grew up in Northern New Jersey just outside New York City, and eventually moved to NYC to start my professional career.
My path into the industry started in an unexpected place. Early in my career I worked as an HTML programmer supporting creative teams building web experiences. My role involved slicing Photoshop layouts and converting them into HTML pages, but over time I began taking on design work and gradually transitioned into a full-time creative role.
My first role in games was at Electronic Arts as a graphic designer on the mobile creative team. One of the highlights of that experience was contributing to campaigns for the FIFA franchise, a series I had been playing since I was a kid.
Outside of Work
I’ve lived in four countries and have traveled extensively across Europe, North America, and South America. Experiencing different cultures and perspectives has had a big influence on how I approach creativity and collaboration.
Recently I’ve also been exploring emerging creative tools and AI-driven workflows, experimenting with platforms like Midjourney, ChatGPT, and OpenClaw to better understand how generative technology can support creative teams and expand marketing production.
